Dr. Bob received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery training at the Albert Einstein/Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in the Bronx. After graduating from his program, he spent almost nine years in Washington, DC, running the clinical ENT program in Bethesda, MD, at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Concurrently, he maintained a faculty appointment at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He was called to operate on HSING HSING, a Panda Bear at the National Zoo. He is the father of three girls and is blessed so far with two grandchildren.
